Founded in 2016 in tribute to the legacy of Samrat Ashoka. Our festival’s mission is to celebrate socially-conscious cinema, focusing on pressing issues like casteism, racism, and global gender inequality.

This year, Bharat International Film Festival is giving an opportunity For The Top 10 Best films from the festival to be screened at the world’s biggest Platform —79th Cannes Film Festival.
Every 2 month, we announce Official Selection Results from the festival for their exceptional and remarkable contributions to cinema from around the world. This way, filmmakers won't have to wait a year for the festival results. Filmmakers will receive an official selection laurel, which they can use to promote their films.
